Accora Village, independently owned and managed by Ferguslea Properties, has its roots in one of Canada’s leading real estate development and property management companies.

Located in Ottawa’s west end, Accora Village is a 100-acre community featuring just under 2,500 renovated apartments, townhomes, and garden homes. Since 2013, the community has been undergoing extensive renovations and modernization to enhance the living experience. Home to approximately 8,000 residents, it offers a fully equipped recreation centre, indoor and outdoor pools, a gymnasium, fitness classes, arts programs, community events, and a variety of amenities designed to foster a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere where residents can connect and thrive.

This role will be pivotal in maintaining the service standards and infrastructure that define Accora Village.

Summary of the Role

The Senior Maintenance Operations Manager is a dynamic, hands-on role that blends operational oversight, team leadership, and a strong commitment to customer service. You will manage daily and long-term maintenance and lead a multi-disciplinary team that keeps residents’ homes, buildings, landscaping, and shared spaces well maintained and welcoming. Your primary goal is to provide excellent service and a comfortable living environment by maintaining both day-to-day operations and the community’s infrastructure.

As Accora Village continues to strengthen its resident-focused approach, you will champion cultural change by fostering high performance and accountability within the supervisory leadership team. This includes promoting open communication and collaboration to strengthen team cohesion and cross-departmental partnerships.

You will define, implement, and optimize business processes to enhance operational performance and elevate resident and employee experiences. You will ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment while driving innovation and efficiency aligned with company values.
