Summary of the Role

This position is for a self-starter who can drive change and foster teamwork. Reporting to the Director of Sales/Marketing, this role is a critical lynchpin to driving successful marketing actively, and by virtue revenue growth for the organization.

The Marketing Coordinator ensures the planning, organization and execution of marketing and salesrelated activities. This can include coordinating with third-party vendors, managing social media content and SEO, branding, leading marketing campaigns, and drafting proposal templates. More importantly, this critical role is responsible for managing how Gifford Carr prepares for and shows at tradeshows and conferences. This encompasses everything from setting up trade show booths to ensuring all staff are prepared and equipped with properly branded attire.

In addition to the planning and execution of events and strategies, this role will also have a very strategic component tied to it. Working closely with senior leadership, the Marketing Coordinator will have input and influence over determining what resonates with prospective clients, and how to best position the organization for future business opportunities. In addition, the Marketing Coordinator will have input into future budgeting exercises and will be tasked with the implementation of tools for tracking the R.O.I of all expenditures to ensure money is well spent and yielding a measurable return.
