Skills & Experience

Smooth Operator

You not only enjoy overseeing the resolution of maintenance related matters but you take pride in ensuring that all building related assets are running smoothly.

Background

You come from a background in maintenance management from organizations that have multi unit dwellings, including healthcare and/or hospitality

Strategic & Professional

Understand how to implement a strategy and processes to ensure aging infrastructure is cared for proactively while ensuring immediate resident requests are dealt with the utmost sense of urgency and professionalism

Industry Knowledge

You possess hands-on knowledge in many areas of building and property maintenance

Leadership

include setting clear expectations, coaching people to be their best and creating a culture of high performance and accountability

Summary of the Role

This position is well suited for someone who is positive, people focused and hands on in their leadership approach. Leading a talented and diverse team, this role ensures that the residents of Accora Village get the empathetic and expedient service they deserve for all their maintenance and cleaning related needs. Overseeing a tenured group of maintenance and cleaning professionals, the Maintenance Operations Manager role ensures that all different aspects of the customer experience are delivered to achieve 100% resident satisfaction. This is accomplished by overseeing the day to day maintenance operations for the community, and ensuring that its maturing infrastructure is cared for both proactively and reactively in a financially responsible manner.

As the organization continues along the path of creating a resident centric and customer driven framework, the new manager will also be a champion and an agent of change. Working closely with and through the supervisory leadership team, the new manager will create a culture of high performance and accountability, ensuring all staff feel supported and engaged along the way. Creating a climate of open communication and collaboration, the team will benefit from increased cohesion as a group as well as with other departments within the organization. To support the exciting growth of this group during this transitionary period, developing, implementing and monitoring new business processes to elevate both the resident and employee experience.
