Leadership Role
You will report directly to the CEO and be part of the senior leadership team. The Director, Stakeholder Relations will play a key role in program planning, ensuring organizational targets are met in a consistent, friendly, and professional manner.
Stakeholder Relations
You will act as advisor and counsel the CEO on stakeholder outreach issues, and be accountable to proactively establish and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders and partners while remaining knowledgeable on industry issues, trends, and more that can impact organizational initiatives.
Collaboration & Strategic
You will ensure that the experienced and talented team reporting to the Director meets their key objectives and the group as a whole is realizing its targets. This will be done by working collaboratively across teams and providing strategic leadership from an operational, financial, and managerial lens for successful implementation of projects and programs.

Skills & Experience
Experience
You are an experienced, competent and goal-oriented leader with exposure to the non-profit arena.
Background
You have exposure and familiarity with communications, marketing, proposal writing, and business development or member services.
Stakeholder Relations
You are very comfortable and enjoy relationship building and meeting with key stakeholders, either associations or organizations of interest.
Project Management
You have spent time managing projects, and ensuring that all critical objectives are met. You are proactive and enjoy taking initiative to find new opportunities and revenue streams.
Collaboration & Relationship Building
You excel at developing relationships internally with your team, collaboratively within the organization, and externally with other key stakeholders.
Target Setting
Your previous roles have had a strong focus on hitting targets and KPIs, and you have a track record of not only hitting individual targets but coaching and mentoring others to hit theirs.
Summary of the Role
This is an exciting opportunity, which will report directly to the CEO and be part of the senior leadership team. The Director, Stakeholder Relations will play a key role in program planning, ensuring organizational targets are met in a consistent, friendly, and professional manner. The Director, Stakeholder Relations also ensures that the organization realizes their mandate of being the ’go-to organization’ for all HR issues impacting the trucking and logistics network. This will be accomplished by developing, managing and implementing strategies for stakeholder relations as well as partnership development and related programs. The successful incumbent will be tasked with developing outreach plans and targets based on government funding agreements as well as providing oversight of program implementation including all activities, outputs, and outcomes related to project management and administration.
